The Escape At Lake Diane
*USE OF A 4 PERSON PADDLE BOAT, TWO 16Ft. ALUMINUM CANOES, and FIVE KAYAKS INCLUDED FOR THE ENTIRE TIME OF YOUR STAY* **MODERN 20 FT PONTOON CAPACITY OF 10 PEOPLE AVAILABLE TO OUR GUESTS** If a Speed Boat or Jet Ski is your thing local marinas will deliver to our lake. Lake Diane is a 400 acre all sports lake with public access (free unlimited boat launch) and your boat or watercraft is welcome to be docked at our 40' dock. The shallow sandy shoreline and beach is inviting to play, swim, or go fishing right off the dock. The Escape at Lake Diane is a beautiful and large 4600 sq ft house and the perfect place for a multi-family gathering or getaway. This gorgeous home has a dining capacity of 14 inside with more seating available on the deck and patio for outdoor dining. Sleeping Arrangements Are Very Manageable and Comfortable for a Party of 14 with 3 full baths allowing plenty of room for everyone in your group! All bed linens and bath towels are provided but please bring your own beach towels as ours are not allowed outdoors. Washer and dryer also available for your use. Our home is set up to be enjoyed by families and events or parties where other guests would be invited is not allowed so if these are your plans please book another property. Enjoy the views and sunsets from just about any room in the house or while lounging on the huge deck at your beautifully decorated home away from home. Step out to the deck from the French doors in the great room, dining room or master bedroom. Or step out to the patio from the lower level family/rec room or bedrooms; sit; relax; read a book, or just chill. Let the kids enjoy the huge playground at the park while you enjoy the lake on the other side of the road. Take a relaxing walk to the lakeshore to take in the panoramic view of Lake Diane. The Deck or Patio is a perfect spot to unwind or keep an eye on the kids while they play in the water on the sandy beach. The deck and patio are fitted with electric outlets, fans and lighting for your comfort. There are so many places to relax and bask in the surrounding and tranquil beauty of The Escape at Lake Diane. Why not take a peaceful ride on a kayak? Or take the canoe or paddle boat and give the kids a short ride to the Convenience Store / Marina / Bar & Grill right on the lake for some ice cream which is only a few minute boat ride away from the property. So much to do, so little time! There is also a large firepit so you can sit around the bonfire in the evenings and tell stories and make memories when the festivities of the day are done. Firewood available for your use. The large fully equipped upper and lower kitchens offer 2 full size fridges, cooktops, microwaves, dishwasher with plenty of cabinets filled with all types of dishes, cooking/baking utensils and small appliances. You can cook in luxury while staying in the middle of the action with the open concept set up. Living areas with Comfy sofas, Smart TVs and fast speed wireless internet and a huge video library for rainy days. Pool table, ping pong table and board games available to keep everyone entertained. The cell phone coverage is spotty in the area depending on your service provider, Verizon is great. Lake Diane is surrounded by privately owned homes which provide for a peaceful getaway but only a 15 - 30 min drive to various surrounding towns such as Frontier, Freemont, Hillsdate, Angola which provide opportunity for shopping, movie theaters, bowling, restaurants and much more. And only 5 mins away is the lakeside marina/ bar & grill and convenience store. And just 15 min drive to Paw Paw you can find large chain stores such as Wal-Mart. So don’t worry if you forgot something at home, all is available in a short distance. Nestled in Amish and wine country, it is worth the easy drive from Chicago, IL; Fort Wayne, IN; Toledo, OH; Lansing, Detroit, Ann Arbor, Monroe, Kalamazoo, MI, etc., being conveniently situated in Michigan but closely bordering the states of Illinois, Indiana and Ohio.
